A MUSICIAN’S SOUL
Music runs through the blood embedding the soul.Expressions of sound by the music with stories told.
Many sacrifices are made by those who entertain,
for the enjoyment of all where bright lights
and party actions end with the mess that remains.
Musicians pour out their energy
as they play the tunes proud,
amid crazy schedules and many locations
with a varied crowd.
People are never alone
when they have a song.
A writer’s words are always
heard strong,
by a musician who plays tunes
for the young and the old.
The public can hear the mood of the stories told!
There are times in a place full of people,
a musician can still feel alone.
They are assured that when the gig is done
each one will return home.
The public views only that stage image,
but the musician’s heart knows,
that when the arena is over,
home is where the human side goes!
